Privacy details & data requests
How this website handles your information, and how to ask us to see, correct or delete it. This page adds to our Privacy policy and does not replace it.
What we collect
Forms on this site
Contact form: your name, email, optional phone, optional Discord or Instagram handle, and your message.
Sell to Us form: your name, email, optional phone, optional Discord username, what you are selling, the details you give us, and how you would like to be paid.
Restock & event alerts: your email address, saved to our Shopify customer list so we can send those alerts.
Shopify handles these forms. We use what you send to reply to you, or, for alerts, to send the alerts you signed up for. No form on this site accepts file uploads.
Orders and accounts
If you order online or create an account, Shopify collects your name, contact details, order details and payment information at checkout. Online orders are pickup only. We do not run our own payment system or customer database.
What your browser shares automatically
Like most websites, this one receives technical information from your browser, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view. Shopify uses it to run the store, keep it secure and measure traffic.
Services on this website
Who handles your data
- Shopify: hosts the store and handles checkout, accounts, orders, form submissions and store analytics.
- Shop Pay and PayPal: payment options where offered at checkout. Your payment details go to the payment provider, not to us.
- Instafeed by NFCube: the Instagram photo feed on some pages. Your browser loads it from the app provider.
- Easify Product Options: powers custom options on product pages and can remember your choices in your browser.
- Google Maps: the map on our home page. Loading it shares your IP address and browser details with Google.
- Google Fonts: the text styles on this site load from Google servers, which receive your IP address.
Links to Discord, Instagram and Whatnot take you to those sites. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave ours.
Cookies and tracking
Cookies and browser storage
This site uses cookies and browser storage, mostly set by Shopify, to keep your cart, remember products you recently viewed, keep checkout and sign-in working, protect against fraud and measure traffic. The services listed above may also store data in your browser.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but your cart and checkout may not work without some of them.
Privacy signals and opt-outs
Our Privacy policy explains how we treat opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control and how to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. You can also use our Your Privacy Choices page, or email us any time.
Your data requests
See, correct or delete your information
Email thecardhousevta@gmail.com with the subject line Privacy request. Tell us if you want a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion, and include the name and email address you used with us.
How we confirm it is you: we reply to the email address on file and ask you to answer from that address. We may ask you to confirm something about your order, such as the order number. We will never ask for ID documents, card numbers or passwords, so please do not send them.
We aim to respond within 45 days.
What we may keep
If you ask us to delete your information, we will delete what we can. We may keep records we are required to keep, such as order and payment records for tax and accounting, and anything needed to handle a dispute or prevent fraud. Shopify and payment providers keep their own records under their own policies.
